Ruta por Toledo. Campana catedral. Rtvdiocesa

Otro día más, hemos superado los 40 grados en Toledo, pero no por ello, las ganas de seguir conociendo a la ciudad de las tres culturas.
Tras desayunar, la guía nos estaba esperando, para llevarnos al barrio judío. Nos ha explicado la espectacular sinagoga del tránsito, donde los niños han quedado fascinados. Tras verla, nos hemos dirigido a ver el cuadro del Entierro del Conde de Orgaz, la obra más importante del Greco. ¡Qué preciosidad!.
Tras pasar por la calle de Santo Tomé, (más antigua de la ciudad), nos dirigimos a la catedral, donde quedaron maravillados con los Grecos, pero más, con el altar mayor y el Transparente.
Ana nos llevo a comer a un restaurante muy bonito en la calle de Pozo Amargo, donde esperamos a Mario para ir a los estudios de Rtvdiocesa donde esperaban, ya que querían conocer cómo lo estaban pasando los chicos del intercambio del colegio Virgen de la Caridad. Allí, Felipe y Emily hablaron de maravilla sobre su experiencia en Toledo y en los días que llevaban en España.
También se atrevió a hablar Sofia, Albert y Óscar, haciendolo también, muy bien.
Tras grabarnos en televisión y radio, nos fuimos de nuevo a la catedral donde esperamos la llegada de algunos españoles para subir a la campana gorda de la catedral.
Quedamos impresionados de la magnitud de la campana, aparte de las vistas que teníamos desde la torre de la catedral primada.
Tras la visita, les dimos un rato de tiempo libre para comprar y a las 18:00, ya nos estaban esperando las familias para llevarnos de vuelta a Illescas.
Mañana nos espera un día en familia. Nos vamos a la Warner.

Another day, and the thermometer has hit 40 degrees Celsius in Toledo, but we still wanted to know the city of three cultures.

After breakfast, the guide was waiting to bring us to the Jewish quarter, she explained interesting facts about la Sinagoga del Transito, where the students where amazed about the art. After the visit, we headed to see the painting "El entierro del Conde Orgaz", the most important painting by El Greco. Beautiful!

We have crossed Santo Tomé street, the oldest in the city, where they were particularly fascinated with the Greco's paintings, but what's more, the altar and transparente. 

Ana took us to a very nice restaurant to have lunch in Pozo Amargo street, where we waiting for Mario, who brought us to Rtvdiocesa studios as they wanted to ask us about how was the exchange going. Felipe and Emily spoke really well in Spanish about their experience in Toledo and Spain.

Sofia, Albert and Oscar also talked in Spanish, and they did a very good job as well.

After filming, we went back to the Cathedral where we waited for some Spanish students and parents to go up the Cathedral's Campana Gorda (fat bell). 

We were impressed by its dimension, and also by the views from the cathedral's tower.

Then, they had some free time to buy souvenirs and right after the families where waiting to bring us back to Illescas.

Tomorrow we will spend time with the families. We'll go to Warner theme park.
